Our wonderful hearts- Y6

Year Six have started their new topic, ‘Animals Including Humans’. They started with filling in their KWL grid to recap any learning from previous year groups and they then completed a sheet all about the systems in the human body. As we moved further into our unit of work, we learnt so many interesting facts about our bodies. 

To show off our learning, we had an opportunity to design and create a game all about the heart. We then spent two sessons planning and creating our games, and today, we all had the opportunity to play them. So much effort went into designing and creating these games and we were blown away by the detail that went into some of them.

We had so much fun playing the games and learning some new facts and we even made sure to give each other feedback that would help improve our work next time.
